PFIC Dedication & Solemn Blessing 

On April 19th, 2009 the new Academic Center and Theological Library of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception was Solemnly Blessed and Dedicated.

On May 6th, David Gibson of the Catholic News Service published a report on the Dedication weekend: "New center aims to reintroduce St. Thomas Aquinas to modern world."

• 11:00am Mass – Presider/Homilist: Most Rev. Donald Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, DC
• 12:30pm Blessing of the New Academic Center and Theological Library at the Dominican House of Studies – Most Rev. Pietro Sambi, Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S.A.
• 1:15pm Buffet Lunch – Pope John Paul II Cultural Center
