By Metro:
Take the Red Line to Brookland/CUA. Exit the station to the left. At the top of the escalator continue straight on the walkway to the road. At the end of the walkway turn left onto McCormack Road and continue for about 50 yards. Turn right onto Michigan Avenue and continue for about 400 yards. The Dominican House of Studies is on the left side of Michigan Avenue.
From the North (I-95 South and Baltimore/Washington Parkway)
After passing through the Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore, take exit 52-Route 295 South, Baltimore-Washington Parkway. As you approach Washington, continue on Rt. 50 West toward Washington (New York Avenue). From New York Avenue exit on South Dakota Avenue and continue to the 6th traffic light (approx. 1.3 miles). Turn left onto Monroe Street and continue to the 10th traffic light (approx. 1.4 miles) and turn left onto Michigan Avenue. The Dominican House of Studies is immediately on the left on Michigan Avenue. The driveway entrance is on the right side of the building.
From the South (I-95 North, 395 North, and North Capitol Street north)
When I-95 intersects the Capitol Beltway (Routes 395, 495, and 95), get onto Route 395. Continue on Route 395 until it ends at New York Avenue, where you must turn right. After the second light, at the first right turn bear right onto M Street. Continue to the second traffic light and turn left onto North Capitol Street. Continue for approximately 1.4 miles to the 8th traffic light and turn right onto Michigan Avenue. After the 4th traffic light (intersection of 4th Street), the Dominican House of Studies is the second building on the right. The driveway entrance is on the right side of the building.
From the East (Route 50)
Take Route 50 West and exit on South Dakota Avenue. Continue to the 6th traffic light (approx. 1.3 miles). Turn left onto Monroe Street and continue to the 10th traffic light (approx. 1.4 miles) and turn left onto Michigan Avenue. The Dominican House of Studies is immediately on the left on Michigan Avenue. The driveway entrance is on the right side of the building.
From the West (Route 66, Constitution Avenue, North Capitol Street north)
Follow Route 66 into Washington to Constitution Avenue. Continue on Constitution Avenue until you pass 2nd Street, N.W.; then turn diagonally left onto Louisiana Avenue. At the 5th traffic light turn left onto North Capitol Street. Continue for approximately 2.1 miles to the 16th traffic light and turn right onto Michigan Avenue. After the 4th traffic light (intersection of 4th Street), the Dominican House of Studies is the second building on the right. The driveway entrance is on the right side of the building.
From the Northwest (I-270, 495-Capital Beltway, Route 1)
Follow 270 South to Washington. Pick up 495-Capitol Beltway East. Take Exit 25 (Route 1 South). At the exit make a right onto Route 1 South. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles and make a right at the light onto 410 East-West Highway. At the first light turn left onto Queens Chapel Road/Michigan Avenue. Continue for approximately three miles. The Dominican House of Studies will be on the left on Michigan Avenue. The driveway entrance is to the right of the building.
