Student Life
Our alumni tell us that they value the small classes, the personal attention the faculty are able to give them, the atmosphere of prayer that permeates the Dominican House of Studies, and the helpfulness of the library staff. The Dominican House of Studies is a great place to study, pray, and grow in your faith.
Students enjoy the reflective atmosphere of the Dominican House of Studies. Besides the classroom, students find the library a good place to study, do research, or check their e-mail.
Commuter students often enjoy a free cup of coffee in the student lounge between classes.
All students are welcome to join the Dominican community for prayer.
Many of the Dominican priests are available as confessors or as spiritual directors.
The property includes a paved walkway in our “backyard” that students will use to “stretch their legs” between classes or after lunch.
Students have three representatives on the Council of the Faculty and participate in identifying and solving problems facing the school as well as planning for the future.
The student services provided by the Pontifical Faculty are designed to support the spiritual and intellectual formation of all students.
